BREAKING: Court Finally Convicts Actor Baba Ijesha Of Sexual Assault Of Comedienne Princess’ Foster Daughter
Embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, alias Baba Ijesha, has been convicted and jailed for sexually assaulting 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne Princess, by an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgement today, Thursday, July 14, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.
The justice, however, discharged and acquitted him of count one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
Taiwo failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the embattled actor is guilty of all the charges against him, sentenced him to 16 years imprisonment.

Following his sentencing, Princess took to Instagram to share a video showing her praising God in the middle of the street.
“God is not man.” she captioned the video.
This comes after over one year of his arrest and prosecution. The 49-year-old actor has been embroiled in a messy alleged rape controversy with Princess’ foster daughter.
Baba Ijesha was arrested on April 22, 2021. He was later released on May 17, 2021, on health grounds.
